Dear students,

眾所周知，目前中國(guó)正在全面抗擊新型冠狀病毒肺炎（NCP），鑒于當(dāng)前正處于防控疫情的關(guān)鍵時(shí)期，按照國(guó)家教育部的統(tǒng)一部署，學(xué)校決定推遲2020年春季學(xué)期的開(kāi)學(xué)時(shí)間，具體開(kāi)學(xué)時(shí)間我們將根據(jù)疫情發(fā)展情況另行通知大家。

You are most likely to have known about the outbreak of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus (NCP). China is now at the critical stage ofprevention and controlwith all Chinese nationals working as one with a strong will to curb and prevent the spread of the epidemic. Following the guidance of the Ministry of Education, Shenzhen University has decided to postpone the opening of the 2020 spring semester. The specific opening day will be notified later.

在正式開(kāi)學(xué)前，我們強(qiáng)烈建議：

Before you return to the University, we would like to remind you of the following:

在國(guó)外的同學(xué)請(qǐng)暫時(shí)留在本國(guó)，在收到學(xué)校正式開(kāi)學(xué)的通知前，請(qǐng)不要返回學(xué)校；在國(guó)內(nèi)親朋好友處的學(xué)生，請(qǐng)繼續(xù)在現(xiàn)住處居住，按照當(dāng)?shù)厣鐓^(qū)的要求安排生活，在收到學(xué)校正式開(kāi)學(xué)的通知前，請(qǐng)不要返回學(xué)校；在校內(nèi)宿舍居住的學(xué)生，請(qǐng)按照學(xué)校的要求安排自己的生活。

Students who are currently off campus, either outside China or in China, please do not returnto the University untilthe date of return is announced. If you are in China (off campus), please follow the requirements of the local community for the epidemic prevention and control. Students who are currently on campus, please follow the University’s rules and regulations.

根據(jù)深圳市出入境管理部門(mén)的相關(guān)工作安排，現(xiàn)將疫情期間國(guó)際留學(xué)生的簽證問(wèn)題告知如下：

According to the Division of Exit-Entry Management of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau, we would like to provide you with information concerning the visa issues.

一、在中國(guó)境內(nèi)的學(xué)生

1. Students who are in China

因疫情防控原因推遲開(kāi)學(xué)時(shí)間，造成無(wú)法及時(shí)辦理簽證、停居留證件延期手續(xù)的，可減少或免予處罰。相關(guān)學(xué)生在正式開(kāi)學(xué)后，請(qǐng)及時(shí)到學(xué)生事務(wù)辦公室（綜合樓320）提交護(hù)照和簽證資料辦理簽證延期手續(xù)。

Those who are unable to extend their visas or residence permits due tothe epidemic prevention and controlcould be given a mitigated or remitted punishment by exit-entry administration authorities. When you are allowed to return to the University, please go to theOffice of Student Affairs (Office 320, Zonghe building)in time to apply for visa extension with your passport and relevant documents.

二、在中國(guó)境外的學(xué)生

2. Students who are outside of China

因?yàn)橐咔樵虿荒茉趯W(xué)習(xí)居留許可到期前入境的學(xué)生，可在正式開(kāi)學(xué)通知規(guī)定的報(bào)到時(shí)間內(nèi)，持L、F、Q、S等普通簽證入境，入境后請(qǐng)及時(shí)到學(xué)生事務(wù)辦公室（綜合樓320）提交護(hù)照和簽證資料，不需要再次提交體檢報(bào)告。

持有X簽證的學(xué)生，請(qǐng)按照正式開(kāi)學(xué)通知的報(bào)到時(shí)間入境報(bào)到。

Those who are unable to enter to China before their visas or residence permits expire due to the reason of epidemic prevention and control can enter to China with the L, F, Q or S visa during the registration period. After you arrive at the University, please submit your passport and visa documents in time to the Office of Student Affairs (Office 320, Zonghe building). Medical report is not required.

Those with X visa please complete registration in accordance with thenotification for the date of return.

三、已繳納新學(xué)期學(xué)費(fèi)且已辦理新學(xué)期學(xué)習(xí)居留許可的學(xué)生

3. Students who have paid tuition fees and have obtained a residence permit for studies for the 2020 spring semester

2020年春季學(xué)期國(guó)際交流學(xué)院學(xué)歷生和語(yǔ)言生課程都將通過(guò)面授方式進(jìn)行，授課內(nèi)容不減少、授課總課時(shí)不變。其他各專(zhuān)業(yè)學(xué)院國(guó)際留學(xué)生課程安排，按照所在學(xué)院規(guī)定執(zhí)行。

The Chinese language course of the 2020 spring semester will continue to be delivered in the traditional face-to-face manner. We assure you that the teaching content and hours will remain unchanged. Course arrangements of other majors will be decided by respective college/school.

請(qǐng)各位同學(xué)結(jié)合自身情況做出以下選擇：

Hereby, we are offering you three choices (you can choose the one that suits you the best):

1、繼續(xù)就讀，具體開(kāi)學(xué)時(shí)間請(qǐng)等待學(xué)校通知，已辦理的學(xué)習(xí)居留許可將繼續(xù)至有效期止；

1) Remain enrolled in the course and wait for the opening day of the new semester to be announced. Your residence permit will not be cancelled.

2、申請(qǐng)休學(xué)，不退回已繳學(xué)費(fèi)，學(xué)院將暫時(shí)取消學(xué)習(xí)居留許可，即春季學(xué)期不到校上課，學(xué)費(fèi)轉(zhuǎn)為2020年秋季（9月）學(xué)期學(xué)費(fèi)；

2) Apply for Suspension of Studies. Your tuition fees will not be returned but transferred to the 2020 Fall semester (September, 2020), and your residence permit for studies will be temporarily cancelled. That is, you will take the course in the 2020 Fall semester.

3、申請(qǐng)退學(xué)，已繳納的學(xué)費(fèi)將于下學(xué)期開(kāi)學(xué)初退回，同時(shí)也將取消學(xué)習(xí)居留許可。

3) Apply for Withdrawal of Studies. Your tuition fees will be returned to your payment account and your residence permit for studies will be cancelled.

已繳費(fèi)并辦理居留許可的學(xué)生請(qǐng)于3月10日前做出選擇并發(fā)郵件至郵箱（[email protected]），我校將于3月15日統(tǒng)一對(duì)選擇第2、3選項(xiàng)的同學(xué)取消學(xué)習(xí)居留許可，選擇第3項(xiàng)的學(xué)生請(qǐng)?jiān)卩]件中附上護(hù)照、居留許可、繳費(fèi)收據(jù)等資料的掃描件。

Please make your decision and email it to [email protected] before March 10, 2020. The residence permit for studies of those who choose the second or third option will be cancelled on March 15, 2020. If you choose the third one, please attach a scanned copy of your passport, residence permit, and the payment receipt in the email.
