A Letter to SZU International Students

去年的寒冬疫情洶涌，今年的暖春硝煙彌漫，一場(chǎng)突如其來(lái)的疫戰(zhàn)將你我隔斷，把開(kāi)學(xué)延緩。

Since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus epidemic last winter, the Chinese people have been united as one in fighting this war. Out of safety concerns, the start of the new semester has been postponed and all students stay at their homes.

去年の冬から今年の春にかけて、コロナウイルスが猛威を振るい、開(kāi)校も遅くせざるを得ない事態(tài)になっております。

這是一場(chǎng)人類(lèi)與病毒的搏戰(zhàn)，打贏(yíng)疫情防控人民戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)、總體戰(zhàn)、阻擊戰(zhàn)，現(xiàn)在已到了殊死一搏的最后階段！誰(shuí)贏(yíng)誰(shuí)輸？全拼信心與果斷。人人均為戰(zhàn)士，你我皆是盟友，全球人休戚與共命運(yùn)相連。今天的隔離，是為了明天更好的相見(jiàn)；今天的暫停，是為了未來(lái)的勇往直前！

This is a struggle of humans against virus. As the battle against the epidemic comes to the final and most critical stage, the Chinese people will combat the outbreak with firmer confidence, stronger resolve and more decisive measures to win this war. Dear students, we are one family committed to fighting the epidemic together and must see our shared planet as a community for all. After the storm comes the rainbow. The epidemic can only set us apart temporarily and we will become stronger from it!

Dear students, as a growing institution, Shenzhen University is developing rapidly jumping by 100 places per year in the World University Rankings. Amid fight against coronavirus epidemic, SZU has taken swift measures to ensure the safety and health of every SZU member, including setting up the SZU epidemic prevention and control group, developing a chemiluminescence antibody test kit for novel coronavirus, offering online teaching and learning resources after semester postponement. All faculty and staff members of College of International Exchange also have been working with professional dedication to help you solve problems.
