一、學(xué)科簡(jiǎn)介Introduction

外國(guó)語(yǔ)言學(xué)及應(yīng)用語(yǔ)言學(xué)二級(jí)學(xué)科下設(shè)語(yǔ)言學(xué)、語(yǔ)言教學(xué)兩個(gè)研究方向。目標(biāo)在于使學(xué)生系統(tǒng)地掌握國(guó)內(nèi)外語(yǔ)言學(xué)的語(yǔ)音學(xué)、形態(tài)學(xué)、句法學(xué)、語(yǔ)義學(xué)及語(yǔ)用學(xué)的基礎(chǔ)理論,了解語(yǔ)言學(xué)各個(gè)分支重要流派的指導(dǎo)思想,掌握系統(tǒng)功能語(yǔ)言學(xué)、心理語(yǔ)言學(xué)、認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)等領(lǐng)域的主要研究方法,具備獨(dú)立提出問(wèn)題、開(kāi)展研究的學(xué)術(shù)能力,培養(yǎng)尊重科學(xué)、實(shí)事求是的學(xué)術(shù)品質(zhì)。

The Foreign Languages and Applied Linguistics offers two main research pathways: Linguistics and Language Teaching. This program is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in key linguistic theories, including phonetics, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics, with both a domestic and international scope.

Students will gain in-depth knowledge of the guiding principles from prominent schools of thought across various linguistic branches. They will also develop expertise in essential research methodologies, such as systemic functional linguistics, psycholinguistics, and cognitive linguistics.

The program emphasizes the cultivation of critical academic skills, enabling students to independently identify research questions and conduct rigorous academic investigations. In addition, it instills a strong commitment to scientific rigor and academic integrity.

對(duì)中英語(yǔ)教學(xué)(TESOC)旨在應(yīng)對(duì)全球范圍內(nèi)日益增長(zhǎng)的中文語(yǔ)境下的英語(yǔ)教育者的需求。該項(xiàng)目借鑒了“對(duì)外英語(yǔ)教學(xué)”(TESOL)課程的成功經(jīng)驗(yàn)與教學(xué)方法,專(zhuān)注于培養(yǎng)中文語(yǔ)境下的教育領(lǐng)域的學(xué)術(shù)領(lǐng)袖與專(zhuān)家。

The Master Programme in Teaching English to Speakers of Chinese (TESOC) is designed to address the growing global demand for proficient English educators within Chinese-speaking contexts. Drawing inspiration from the methodologies and successes of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) programs, this advanced research-focused programme to cultivate academic leaders and experts in language education.

The programme seeks to equip candidates with cutting-edge knowledge and skills in language pedagogy, cultural awareness, and research methodologies. It emphasizes a critical understanding of how English can be effectively taught to learners with a Chinese linguistic context and critical thinking.    The curriculum combines rigorous theoretical exploration with practical experience in classroom teaching, second language acquisition research, and curriculum design. Doctoral candidates will engage in seminars, fieldwork, and independent research, leading to a dissertation that contributes original knowledge to the field.

Students will have opportunities for international collaboration, participation in language teaching conferences, and access to professional networks that bridge the East and West in education.


2.神經(jīng)語(yǔ)言學(xué)Neurolinguistics

本學(xué)科基于神經(jīng)科學(xué)、語(yǔ)言學(xué)、數(shù)據(jù)科學(xué)、醫(yī)學(xué)、心理學(xué)、電子信息工程等文理醫(yī)工多學(xué)科大跨度交叉,探討包括語(yǔ)言的腦神經(jīng)機(jī)制、語(yǔ)言障礙的診療技術(shù)開(kāi)發(fā)、語(yǔ)言障礙數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)建設(shè)、語(yǔ)言發(fā)育與語(yǔ)言習(xí)得等領(lǐng)域,面向國(guó)家神經(jīng)語(yǔ)言學(xué)學(xué)科與語(yǔ)言服務(wù)產(chǎn)業(yè)的需求與發(fā)展,發(fā)揮深圳在語(yǔ)言智能產(chǎn)業(yè)化發(fā)展道路上的引領(lǐng)效應(yīng),突破傳統(tǒng)文科的理論教學(xué)局限,培養(yǎng)將理論運(yùn)用于實(shí)踐的能力的應(yīng)用型人才、掌握多學(xué)科交叉技能的復(fù)合型人才、國(guó)際領(lǐng)先的交叉學(xué)科高水平人才。

This discipline integrates multiple fields such as neuroscience, linguistics, data science, medicine, psychology, and electronic information engineering, exploring areas including the neural mechanisms of language, the development of diagnostic and therapeutic technologies for language disorders, the construction of language disorder databases, and language development and acquisition. It addresses the needs and development of national neurolinguistics and the language service industry, leveraging Shenzhen's leading role in the industrialization of language intelligence. The program aims to transcend the limitations of traditional humanities education by cultivating applied talents who can apply theory in practice, interdisciplinary professionals with cross-disciplinary skills, and high-level talent in cutting-edge interdisciplinary fields.

一、學(xué)科簡(jiǎn)介Introduction

本學(xué)科借助歷史學(xué)、政治學(xué)、法學(xué)、經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)、哲學(xué)、人類(lèi)學(xué)、社會(huì)學(xué)等學(xué)科的理論和方法,探討語(yǔ)言對(duì)象國(guó)家和區(qū)域的歷史地理、政治經(jīng)濟(jì)、社會(huì)文化和中外關(guān)系,注重全球與區(qū)域發(fā)展進(jìn)程的理論和實(shí)踐,提倡與國(guó)際政治、國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)、國(guó)際法等相關(guān)學(xué)科的交叉融合。區(qū)域國(guó)別研究以特定國(guó)家或區(qū)域?yàn)閷?duì)象,是一個(gè)多學(xué)科、跨學(xué)科的綜合領(lǐng)域,需要整合社會(huì)科學(xué)、人文學(xué)科、自然科學(xué)知識(shí)以構(gòu)成學(xué)科基礎(chǔ)。

By means of the theories and methodology of history, politics, law, economics, philosophy, anthropology, sociology and other disciplines, the Master program in Area Studies explores the historical geography, political economy, social culture and diplomacy of specific countries or areas, with a focuses on the global and regional development process. It advocates the interdisciplinary research method integrated with international politics, international economy, international law and other subjects. Area studies is a comprehensive research field with multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives and specialized areas in specific countries or regions. It requires integration of the knowledge of social science, humanities and natural science to form its disciplinary basis.

2.美歐地區(qū)研究。旨在系統(tǒng)了解美國(guó)和歐洲主要國(guó)家(美國(guó)、英國(guó)、法國(guó)、德國(guó)、荷蘭、俄羅斯等)的歷史、文化、政治、宗教、外交等領(lǐng)域的知識(shí)和研究方法以及國(guó)內(nèi)外最新研究動(dòng)態(tài),重點(diǎn)從文化交流、經(jīng)濟(jì)合作視角研究多邊合作伙伴關(guān)系等問(wèn)題。

3.拉美地區(qū)研究。旨在系統(tǒng)了解拉美主要國(guó)家(巴西、阿根廷、墨西哥等)的歷史、文化、政治、宗教、外交等領(lǐng)域的知識(shí)和研究方法以及國(guó)內(nèi)外最新研究動(dòng)態(tài),重點(diǎn)從文化交流、經(jīng)濟(jì)合作視角研究多邊合作伙伴關(guān)系等問(wèn)題。

1. Asia Pacific Studies. It aims at gaining a systematic knowledge and research methods of major countries in South Asia (India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, etc.), Southeast Asia (Myanmar, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and the Philippines, etc.) and East Asia (Japan and South Korea, etc.) in fields of history, culture, politics, religion, diplomacy as well as its latest research dynamics at home and abroad , focusing on multilateral cooperative partnerships from the perspective of cultural exchange and economic cooperation.

2.American and European Area Studies. It aims at gaining a systematic knowledge and research methods of major countries in the United States and Europe (the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Russia, etc.) in fields of in the history, culture, politics, religion, diplomacy, as well as its latest research dynamics at home and abroad, focusing on multilateral cooperative partnerships from the perspective of cultural exchange and economic cooperation.

3.Latin American Area Studies. It aims at gaining a systematic knowledge and research methods  of major Latin American countries (Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, etc.) in fields of in the history, culture, politics, religion, diplomacy, as well as its latest research dynamics at home and abroad, focusing on multilateral cooperative partnerships from the perspective of cultural exchange and economic cooperation.

081400 Civil Engineering (English Program)

This fully English-taught program adopts a future-proof approach to education, research, and talent development at the master’s level. It provides students with advanced, robust knowledge across Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Engineering Management as well as Machine Learning through comprehensive core courses. Additionally, the program emphasizes a holistic academic research approach, supported by a dedicated team of professors who offer not only supervision, but mentorship. This international master’s program seeks to cultivate scientific and competitive spirit, innovative thinking, and problem-solving skills, equipping students with future-proof interdisciplinary expertise and a global outlook.
