Program Overview

The development of computer technologies, especially information technology promotes larger-scale of applications popping up in the manufacturing field, furtherly pushes the new wave of intelligent manufacture the core of industrial revolution over the world. The development of intelligent systems and intelligent manufacturing has been listed as the main direction of promoting a combination of the information technology and the manufacturing technology as new emerging generation.

Combining computer science and technology, automation, machinery, and other disciplines, a second-level discipline of "Intelligent Systems and Intelligent Manufacturing" is established in Shenzhen University under the first-level doctoral degree authorization point of the "Computer Science and Technology". The newly constructed "Intelligent Systems and Intelligent Manufacturing" focuses on deep collaboration amongst unmanned systems, intelligent control, industrial internet, computer vision, big data analysis and processing with advanced manufacturing technology, also with a conclusion of control theory and autonomous systems, intelligent testing and intelligent equipment, industrial internet and intelligent manufacturing. Compared with existing similar disciplines such as "pattern recognition and intelligent systems", More emphasis is placed on the deep integration of control science with engineering, computers, and advanced manufacturing, and promoting the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry through the application of emerging technologies in computer fields such as blockchain, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and metaverse.

Mathematical theory on information science, numerical functionals, matrix analysis, intelligent control and autonomous systems, computational theory of vision and algorithms, machine learning and pattern recognition, complex networks and group intelligence, knowledge engineering


Career Prospects

The objective is to cultivate research-oriented and high-level professional talents with comprehensive moral, intellectual, and physical development that meet the needs of national and local development. Talents from this subject should master solid specialized knowledge in control science and theory, manufacturing science and theory, computer software and theory, and be familiar with the progress, trends, and frontiers of intelligent systems and intelligent manufacturing disciplines; Having independent innovation ability, practical ability, and entrepreneurial spirit, possessing the ability to independently engage in scientific research, university teaching, or undertake specialized technical work. Also mastering English, proficient in reading foreign language materials of this major, possessing the ability to write papers and engage in international academic communication language skills; Proficient in using computers and the ability to apply network information technology.

崔玉康,博士、副教授,博士生導(dǎo)師。深圳市海外高層次人才,南山區(qū)領(lǐng)航人才,深圳大學(xué)荔園優(yōu)青。長(zhǎng)期從事多機(jī)器人路徑規(guī)劃與編隊(duì),多機(jī)器人協(xié)同定位與建圖,集群系統(tǒng)彈性控制與博弈,以及非線(xiàn)性時(shí)滯系統(tǒng)分析與綜合方向研究,主持國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金、廣東省自然科學(xué)基金和教育廳項(xiàng)目等課題。以第一作者或通訊作者發(fā)表SCI論文30余篇,其中Automatica和IEEE匯刊20篇;授權(quán)國(guó)際專(zhuān)利1項(xiàng)、國(guó)內(nèi)發(fā)明專(zhuān)利4項(xiàng);獲得2019年中國(guó)自動(dòng)化學(xué)會(huì)自然科學(xué)二等獎(jiǎng)。擔(dān)任Journal of Engineering, Franklin Open等多個(gè)國(guó)際期刊編委。

Dr. Cui Yukang is Associate Professor of Shenzhen University, Shenzhen High-level Talent, Outstanding Young Teacher of Shenzhen University. Dr. Cui has long been engaged in multi-robot path planning and formation, multi-robot cooperative localization and mapping, resilience control and game theory of swarm systems, as well as the analysis and synthesis of nonlinear time-delay systems. He has hold fundings from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province. He has published over 30 SCI-indexed papers, 20 of which are reputable journal papers such as Automatica and IEEE Transactions; he holds one international patent and four national invention patents. Dr. Cui was awarded the second prize in Natural Science by the Chinese Association of Automation in 2019. He serves on the editorial board of several international journals including the Journal of Engineering and Franklin Open.

吳宗澤,深圳大學(xué)特聘教授、博士生導(dǎo)師,機(jī)電與控制工程學(xué)院院長(zhǎng),俄羅斯工程院外籍院士;國(guó)家新一代人工智能重大項(xiàng)目負(fù)責(zé)人Grant No. 2020AAA0108300),中國(guó)自動(dòng)化學(xué)會(huì)工業(yè)視覺(jué)專(zhuān)業(yè)委員會(huì)(籌)主任委員。

主要研究方向包括物聯(lián)網(wǎng)、智能制造、新一代人工智能等。先后主持科研項(xiàng)目50余項(xiàng),包括國(guó)家新一代人工智能重大專(zhuān)項(xiàng),國(guó)家智能制造新模式重大專(zhuān)項(xiàng)、國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金、國(guó)家電子發(fā)展基金、國(guó)家科技支撐計(jì)劃子課題、國(guó)家973子課題等。

Wu Zongze, Distinguished Professor, PhD Supervisor, is Dean of the College of Mechatronics and Control Engineering of Shenzhen University, and Foreign full member of the Russian Academy of Engineering, who is in charge of the National Key R&D Program of China for New Generation Artificial Intelligence(Grant No. 2020AAA0108300) and Chairman of the Industrial Vision Professional Committee (preparatory stage) of the Chinese Association of Automation.

Prof. Wu is mainly engaged in the research of the Internet of Things, intelligent manufacturing, and next-generation artificial intelligence. He has successively led over 50 scientific research projects, including the National Key R&D Program of China for New Generation Artificial Intelligence, the National Key R&D Program for New Models of Intelligent Manufacturing, programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, programs of the National Electronic Development Fund, programs of the National Science and Technology Support Plan, and sub projects of the National 973 Program.

He has won a number of important awards, such as Chinese Patent Silver Award, first-class Prize of the Ministry of Educations Science and Technology Progress Award and second-class Prizes of the Ministry of Educations Science and Technology Progress Award 2 times, and first-class prizes of Guangdong Provinces  Science and Technology Award 4 times.

 Da Tao is the Deputy Director of the Human Factors Engineering Research Institute at Shenzhen University, Distinguished Research Fellow, and Doctoral Supervisor. He has been consecutively listed among the world’s top 2% scientists, and is a recipient of the Guangdong Distinguished Young Scholar Fund, a Shenzhen High-Level Overseas Talent, and a Liyuan Outstanding Young Scholar of Shenzhen University. His research focuses on human–computer interaction (HCI), with expertise in multimodal physiological and behavioral synchronized assessment techniques to investigate mechanisms of HCI and human error. His work provides theoretical and methodological support for optimizing human–machine systems and preventing errors in fields such as healthcare, nuclear power, and transportation. He has led more than 20 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Young Scholar and General Programs), has published over 70 SCI/SSCI papers (including 4 ESI Highly Cited Papers) with more than 5,000 citations. He has received multiple Best Paper Awards at domestic and international academic conferences. He also serves as a Visiting Researcher at the State Key Laboratory of Nuclear Power Safety, a peer reviewer for national, provincial (Guangdong), and municipal (Shenzhen) natural science foundations, an expert reviewer for industry and association standards, and a guest editor and editorial board member of several leading SCI journals.
